made a blogspot...

I've been meaning to make one of these for several reasons: to post tattoos and paintings, as well as progress on my motorcycle builds.

I'm currently cafe-ing a 1978 suzuki gs550, restoring a 1974 honda cl125, and building an early 1900's indian board tracker out of a bicycle frame.

the cafe is almost done, but I'll post the progress on the indian now.

started with a 26" huffy cranbrook cruiser bike.

cut off some extra. im mounting a gastank on the underside of the top bar of the frame, then making a "fake" fiberglass tank to mount overtop. that of course will have the old style indian logos on it and everything.

i painted it red, as well as painted the rear wheel with appliance epoxy (the front is getting the same) im contemplating using all black tires, no white walls, to get a beefier tire look...

fake tank out of cardboard and covered in foil so the fiberglass resin wouldnt stick.

a layer of fiberglass cloth.

then another layer of fiberglass mat, and this is how it is now. i still need to cut it to shape and smooth it out with gold body filler.

sitting on the bike.

flipped bars for that early board track look, and an extra mirror left over from my cafe build.

the engine should be here friday. its a 50cc two stroke engine, thats left side driven. it has to be 50 or under to obtain a moped sticker, and so i wont need to insure it.

  1. you sure know how to assemble a blog FAST! Almost as fast as a killer board tracker.
