hit a deer on a motorcycle.

so tonight me and my boy rich were cruising all over, he just picked up an 03 shadow last night.

we split off so he could go home and i rode down jefferson along the water to go home.
all of the sudden... DEER!

i grabbed my brakes and kept it steady, no way im letting my newest bike go down.

at this point im thinking, dont run back towards me, just cross.

it runs back towards me. luckily it hesitated for like .0001 seconds and somehow i touched it with my bike, maybe its foot hit my tire or something but i felt it.

and there i am, somehow not hurt. my bike is fine, and the deer runs off.

scarrry shit.

russian.

i doodled these out and painted them.

if youre wondering. the eyeball one says "true sight", the lamp says "i knew i'd find you" and the venetian crow mask reads "my dear"

if you want the original painting or prints or one of these tattooed on you, give me a ring.

lids

one was $5 and one was $75. both are rad.

let there be light.

made my new space even better, put up some florescent lights up tonight. really bright!

now all i gotta do is get a curtain over those windows for when i work at night, cause i feel like the whole neighborhood is staring at me.

bars

got my new bars today for it. i was hoping theyd have a little more rise than they do. i was basically hoping to get the same dimensions of the bars i have now, just minus the cross bar. the rise on these is about 1"-1.5" lower, that shouldnt be too much of a fussy hassle with the cables, right?

like a new pipe.

i resanded and painted the pipe last night. i dont have a before shot really, though i have this one:

as you can see the pipe was just solid rust. yuck.

heres how it looks now:

looks like a new damn pipe!

thanks kevin

kevin left a comment with these builders heiwa from japan.

the japanese can build some dope stuff. we all know brat style and gravel crew, but i came across these guys today. ive been changing my mind abut my cl125 back and forth for months, but im def using these guys rad stuff as some reference for it. check it

new workspace.

so yeah. the garage in at my new house sucks. theres NO electricity going to it, and it smells terrible because theres little holes in the roof and every time it rains, it basically rains inside and gets everything in the garage wet.

i have to cover my bikes with a painting tarp. whats even the point of having a garage then?

so i have this extra outside room thats enclosed with windows ad heat/air vents. i laid down some new vinyl. it has lights, and im adding more lights, and a nice workbench. i think this will be good enough space for fabrication, paint, fiberglassing, and general work. and i have easy access to wheel my bikes in and out. check it.

looks comfy!

what was this?

the frame and single pipe looks like the set up of my cl (though i think it may be a yamaha?)

but it looks like i could give my cl125 this kind of bratstyle/gravel crew/street tracker treatment with ease...

hmmm.

mockup for zach

my bud zach wood wants to get a cafe racer this year. i told him get me a donor bike and i'd cafe it for him. we're thinking a 70's enduro bike, (cl, ts, dt) since you can find 125-200cc models for pretty cheap. heres a little mockup of what we could do.

paint for terry.

went over to terry's garage and primed his street fighter for him. later on i hit it with a coat of appliance epoxy. still gona do one or two more coats. we're gonna build him a dope fighter.

secret handshakes.

did this filler on brian. fun piece.
